MISC Summer

Dylan and I went on a day trip to see the Sendai Golden Eagles pro baseball team play Tokoyo Lyons. We had a great time!

Today was a great day at the beach!

Disney land / Disney Sea

We have been promising the kids that we would take them to Disney land & Disney Sea in Japan and we finally had a chance to go. It was awesome family vacation very simular to Disneyland in the U.S. but much cleaner and extreamly organized. It was a great trip and we stayed at the New sanno in Tokyo.

Grace and I talked about leaving Lindsey here in Japan. She fits right in!

2nd trip to orphanage

Yesterday we made our 2nd trip to local orphanage. What a great way to spend Easter weekend and the weather was excellent! The kids all played together and we hosted some games and an easter egg hunt. I stuck with the BBQ.

Sushi restaurant

Friday we went to this Sushi restaurant and were amazed at some of the foods we saw. This is a giant Fish head.

Morioko Zoo

We went to the Zoo last weekend which is 3 hours South from us. The zoo also had an amusment park and Dylan got to ride some of the big boy rides. He is getting tall! The day ended with a stop at the mall. It was a good trip and we are glad winter is over!

ski trip

Took the kids ice skating at the local ice rink. Dylan likes it but Lindsey not so much.

Every year the Ohminato Japanese Chiefs invite us on a ski trip. Below is a game of who can slide the farthest on a trash bag. I didn't win but it was Fun stuff!

Weekend ski trip

This past weekend we went to a ski resort located at the north side of Mt. Shunpou Iwaki, NAQUA Shirakami. They had some awesome snowboard trails and lots of them. I tried to teach the kids to ski but they would rather go sledding. They also had an outdoor Onsen that the wife and kids enjoyed. This place is definetly family oriented.

With my snowboard I got for christmas I have been hitting the slopes every weekend. When we go the kids sled and I snowboard. There are many resorts here in Japan and each one is different.

I help the kids make a snow fort!

Christmas 2008

Dylan and Lindsey both got Nintendo DS but mommy seems to enjoy it more than Lindsey
