Lindsey starts kindergarden
Lindsey started Kindergarden and she loves it. DOD schools are no joke she has homework everyday in kindergarden. Dylan loves school and is so interesed in learning new things. As I am currently working on my Bachelors degree I am revisiting the basics with my kids. I am starting to get it the second time through!

Mt Fuji hike
This weekend I climbed Mt. Fuji with the FY 2009 Chief Selectee's. It was a challange and by no means an easy task. The higher you go the less oxegen and you literally have to break every 4 or 5 steps. It is also easy to get delerious at these heights. The weather was horrible and this made it even more difficult but I plan to do it again next year. Hopefully the weather is better and I have gathered many lessons learned.
Climbing up!
This is at station 9 and you can see where the clouds are. It was cold and rainy. You can also see I am carrying a walking stick that I got stamped with a hot iron at each station.

Towada Camping
We went camping at Lake Towada this weekend and had a great time. The weather was great and everyone enjoyed themselves. Last week we had a 6.8 earthquake in Northern Japan and the orasie gorge road to the campsite was closed due to a landslide so we had to take an alternate route. This earthquake was the biggest I have ever felt and lasted about 2 minutes.

Dylan learned to ride bike W/out training wheels
I apologize for not updating in awhile but I went back to the states to get my dog and had to travel with work in May and June so I have not had alot of time. Grace is not good with taking pictures and we both seem to forget the camera when we are in a hurry.
Today Dylan rode his bike for the first time w/out training wheels. I was so proud of him and he needed very little coaching. I gave him 1 push and he was off. He truely suprised me today and rode the entire day. Next Dylan and I will try to teach Lindsey and Mommy how to ride.

Big Bear's arrival to Japan
As many of you know I had to leave Bear with my parent's because the airlines would not fly him. (Note: American Airlines is not pet friendly). I went back in April with United airlines to get him which was costly but definetly worth it. Japan is rabbies free and a lot of requirements and paperwork are required to bring a dog to Japan. He is an excellent family dog and we are all glad he is with us now!!!
